Blue Coast Cottages is one of the most popular Wasaga Beach After Prom destinations. Located just a 5-min walk to the main beach area we are in the heart of where all the fun begins. We offer 10 units that can be divided into groups of 6, 8 or 10 people. We can accommodate large groups or smaller groups for a minimum of 2-night stay. We have been hosting after proms for many years and we can assist you in organizing your larger groups. Since we know the organizer takes effort we offer you a free stay if you book more than 72 people.

Q: How do I start planning?

A: Being an organizer takes organization and leadership skills. It's definitely a great way to gain experience as a planner. We try to make it as easy as possible for you and we can answer any questions or concerns that you may have. Since organizing a large group takes up some of your time, we would like to offer organizers their stay for FREE or 50% off for 2 organizers. Based on booking more than 72 people and excluding long weekends. Ask us for details.

Q: I would like to sleep my entire grad class - How many people can I bring?

A: To book all 10 cottages for you and your school, you must book more than 72 people. We can send you a list of sleeping arrangements to help you organize who will sleep where. You can also book a group as small as 6 people.

Q: How much would it be for our stay?

A: Prices vary according to how many people will be attending as well as the date of check in and check out. The earlier you book and the more people you have - the less it will be. Prices start as low as $115 per person (depending on the date chosen) for a 2-night stay. You will also be required to place a separate security deposit that you will get back so long as there are no damages or cancellations.

Q: How far is Wasaga Beach from GTA and can I bring my car?

A: Wasaga Beach is 1.5 hours from the GTA. We offer 2 free parking spots per cottage. Normally larger groups arrive by car pooling or via bus rentals. 

What do I have to bring?

A: Some items to remember to bring are bathroom tissue, towels, garbage bags, paper towels, paper utensils and plates, soap, shampoo and don't forget your bathing suit. Each cottage is cleaned and well- kept before your arrival therefore, if you plan on making a more than normal mess please bring your own cleaning supplies. 

Q: What gets discounted from our security deposit?

A: We provide housekeeping for free so long as the cottage is in reasonable condition. There will be a charge for additional housekeeping if the cottage is left in an unacceptable condition or if housekeepers have to take longer than normal.  We also charge for stained or damaged furniture including couches, mattresses or linen. Q: Why should I choose Blue Coast?

A: At Blue Coast you and your large group of friends can be within the same vicinity but have your own private cottage per group. You can choose to bunk with 6 - 8 friends and share the kitchen and bathroom with comfort and yet be with the rest of your school. We also try to offer you the best rate according to your date and number of people. We strive for your group to have a good time and try to offer the best customer service we can offer. Q:  How early can I book my spot?

A: You can book as soon as possible. In fact, many schools book 7 months in advance to guarantee their spot. Booking early is recommended to avoid disappointment.
